A COUPLE accused of concealing a birth have been released without charge.
This comes after police officers and ambulance crews were sent to a house in College Road, Braintree, on November 4 following concerns for a baby.
Officers attended the house where the body of a baby boy was found inside the house.
A post mortem examination showed the baby had been stillborn.
Following consultation with the Crown Prosecution Service, a 30-year-old woman was released from bail without charge on June 27.
A 28-year-old man from Braintree was arrested in connection with the incident and was released from bail without charge in April due to insufficient evidence.
No further action will be taken.
