DISCO fans can dust off their dancing shoes for an evening of pure nostalgia and chart-topping beats.

Uncle Funk’s Disco Inferno will explode on to the stage at Witham Public Hall.

Billed as the UK's top disco covers band, the group have become renowned for their electrifying performances of the greatest disco hits that have been setting dance floors on fire for generations.

Uncle Funk’s Disco Inferno have become a favourite among music lovers of all ages, with their infectious energy, stunning stage presence, and dedication to capturing the essence of the disco era.

Now celebrating their 25th anniversary, the eight-piece band have played some of the biggest events in the country, including a number of appearances at Glastonbury and Standon Calling festivals, Cambridge Club Festival, Camper Calling, the Secret Garden Party, Shambala and many more.

This year also saw them travel to Denmark to headline a stage at the prestigious SmukFest, which has been running for more than 40 years.

The evening promises to be an unforgettable night of music, dance and nostalgia, as the band transports the audience back to the glamorous and exuberant heyday of disco.

The set-list will include dazzling disco classics from artists such as Donna Summer, the Bee Gees, Chic, Earth, Wind and Fire, KC and the Sunshine Band and the Jacksons.

Fans are urged to dig out their disco outfits as they dance along to hits including Stayin' Alive, Le Freak, Boogie Wonderland and many more, all delivered with the band's signature flair and passion, along with eye-popping costumes and choreographed dance moves.

The concert is on Friday, October 6, from 8pm.
