Tribute acts dedicated to performing hits by some of the biggest artists around are coming to a venue in Braintree.

The Institute, in Bocking End, will be hosting a series of tributes over the coming months.

For fans of live music, it is the perfect opportunity to get out and enjoy a wide-rang of music spanning from rock to pop.

Money For Nothing will play at the venue on March 1.

Billed as the "best Dire Straits act in Europe", the group celebrate the music of Mark Knopfler and Co, performing all the classic hits such as Sultans of Swing, Romeo and Juliet, and Brothers in Arms.

Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets are £28.50.

The Shape Of You, a show dedicated to Ed Sheeran, is heading to the Institute on March 14.

The theatrical production features a full live band with vocalist Daniel East belting out music by one of the biggest solo acts in the world.

You can expect to enjoy Ed’s signature loop guitars, heartfelt singalongs, beatboxing and a big light performance to accompany the show.

Doors open at 6.30pm and tickets cost £24 for adults and £16.50 for under-16s.

On April 20, music fans can experience a live show dedicated to one of the most influential bands of all time, the Beatles.

The Vox Beatles will perform a two-hour set of back-to-back Beatles classics.

All the hits will be performed with different instruments and the four members will dress up in various outfits that cover the timeline of Liverpool’s mop-topped Fab Four.

Doors open at 7.30pm and tickets cost £22.50.

Finally, a tribute act dedicated to king of pop Michael Jackson will grace the Institute’s stage.

Michael, a theatre production which stars lookalike tribute artist Ben Bowman, will take place on May 3.

The show boasts a live band, spectacular costumes, and Ben will perform some of Michael Jackson’s iconic dance routines.

Tickets cost £31.50 and doors open at 7.30pm.
