A PASSENGER has been left with "life-changing" injuries and a police probe launched following a 'serious' crash in Braintree.

Officers rushed to the scene of the two-vehicle crash at about 11.30am last Wednesday.

The incident took place on the A131 between Marks Farm roundabout at the roundabout at Thistley Green.

The road was closed for two hours whilst emergency services attended the scene.

A driver and passenger of one car were both taken to hospital.

Police have said the passenger’s injuries are described as life-changing.

Now, officers are appealing for anyone with dashcam footage and any witnesses to come forward.

A spokesman said: “We would also like to hear from any witnesses to the collision who may have important information to aid our investigation.

“If you can help, please contact us quoting incident number 0430 of Wednesday, April 10.”
