A road near the A12 has been blocked after a tree fell on to a power cable.
Essex Highways reported that Terling Hall Road in Hatfield Peverel has been blocked following the continuing strong winds.
A tree has fallen onto a power cable, leaving the road obstructed for vehicles.

According to the traffic authority, there have been no major effects on traffic, and the situation will be monitored throughout the day to alert travellers.
