A Witham retirement living complex is celebrating its ninth consecutive positive rating from an housebuilders industry body.

Mill Green Lodge, a housing complex for retired pensioners, in Ryland Drive, Witham, owned by Churchill Retirement Living, has achieved a five-star rating in an independent customer satisfaction survey led by the Home Builders Federation.

The housebuilder has reported that 100 per cent of its apartment owners at Mill Green Lodge who responded to the survey said they would recommend the housebuilder to a friend.

This is Churchill Retirement Living’s ninth year in a row for the rating.

The chairman and CEO of Churchill Retirement Living, Spencer J McCarthy said: “We are delighted to have maintained our top five star customer satisfaction rating for a ninth consecutive year.

“We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality apartments and the best customer service to enable an independent, worry-free lifestyle.

“So, to achieve these results based on an independent survey of our owners is a real credit to our whole team.”

Originally formed in 1948 as the Federation of Registered House Builders, the HBF represents the house building industry in England and Wales.

According to the HBF’s website, its members account for 80 per cent of all new homes built in England and Wales in any one year.

The Home Builders Federation interviewed over 100,000 homeowners across the country for the survey.
