PATROLS have been conducted at a Colchester beauty spot as part of a crackdown on anti-social behaviour in the city.
This week, Essex Police's Rural Engagement Team conducted joint patrols of Hilly Fields with the Colchester Park Rangers.
The team leads the force on heritage and wildlife matters, with the Hilly Fields site a scheduled ancient monument, also containing important natural habitat.
The patrols came following reports of anti-social behaviour such as fires, litter and use of alcohol at the site.
The team has been patrolling and engaging with the public.
